Quote from Jeff Todd “ I don’t believe in small step’s. Let’s go big or go home. Meaning, this event is JT’s 3 regional concert. The 1st one was in Florida when he teamed up with local business and hosted the Hurricane Relief Concert. With 6 bands and a day long event JT was able to raise over 4 thousand pounds of can food for the Leesburg Food Bank in Leesburg Florida. That show was headlined by Tammi Diddley, the daughter of Bo Diddley. Later that night at the after party Jeff was hired by Tammi Diddley’s mother to manage and become the agent for Tammi Diddley.

The 2nd event was the Valdosta Blues Festival in Valdosta GA.” Another 1st for the area. Jeff brought in 6 blues bands to play this event. This was THE 1ST TIME Lissa d Mayer came into the picture.. Shortly after that concert Jeff & Lisa teamed up and formed Old Dog’s Records Inc.

From there the music business took them to Nashville and Clarksdale, Holly Springs and now to Pontotoc, MS Pontotoc MS is the home of the 1st Annual Dogwood Folk Music Festival. We had the opportunity to keep this event small, but that’s not the way JT does things. JT saw a opportunity to raise the level of this event and made plans to make it as big as they could and this is why were starting this adventure over a year in advance. Jeff believes that it will take that long to properly set up this event. We at Dogwood Music will do everything it takes to do this event properly.
